The end result is a product with distinctive markings and colouration. Their Malia dinner platers are shaped on a potter’s wheel and finished with a stylish linear pattern that is painted onto the rim by hand. These collections are created by talented artisans in China. The country has a rich heritage of arts and crafts, but sadly it is now more renowned for mass production and many of its traditional skills have been forgotten or overlooked.
