Anything we missed?

What are FourState points?

At FourState we reward every purchase with 1 FourState points per £1 spent.

You can use your FourState points to donate to any Cause that we've selected to support. You'll find the current Causes we're supporting under the About FourState menu - just click "Support Now" on the Cause you wish to support.

How is my delivery shipped?

We ship using Royal Mail as they make use of carbon offsetting schemes to make sure that getting your order from us to you is completely carbon neutral.

All the packaging we use on your order is either recyclable or biodegradable and we also use previously recycled materials in our packaging wherever possible.

How long will it take my delivery to arrive?

We aim to dispatch all orders within 2 working days. You can select your shipping option whilst checking out; Royal Mail First Class aims for next working day, meaning it's very likely you'll receive your order within 72 hours (3 working days) of checkout if you select this option!

What are the Four States?

The four States are Air, Humanity, Land and Water. You can find out more about each of them under the "About FourState" dropdown menu.

We use the four States to categorise each of our products in order to show you where each of them has the biggest impact on the planet. Our Causes and blogs are also separated into States so if there is a particular issue such as Ocean Plastics that you are passionate about, you can make sure your efforts are focused on that issue!

Do you Ship internationally?

We don't have an international shipping policy yet, but send us an email at and we can give you a quote for international shipping on an order!

What does fourState do to be sustainable?

We do our best to practice what we preach - our offices are run entirely on renewable energy and as an operation we are carbon negative through carbon offsetting. We all use Ecosia as our search engine to make sure even our internet searches are doing good - we recommend you do too!

Finally, we are really careful with waste - almost everything is either recycled and reused, including our packaging which is often reused (if in good condition of course), and it goes without saying that all packaging is either biodegradable or recyclable.

If you've got any suggestions, please do get in touch - we're always looking for ways to do more.

How can buying things solve the issues buying things created?

This is a fascinating question and one we're asked a lot, which is why we decided to include it in the FAQs.

It's certainly true that consumerism and greed has got us to where we are today - nobody needs 10 pairs of trainers or a huge house for 2 people... But it's also true that people still need to buy things. You'll always need a toothbrush, deodorant or sunglasses regardless of whether you're cutting down on waste or not.

That's where we come in. We absolutely advocate cutting down and not mindlessly consuming, but when you do need to purchase, from presents to household essentials, we'll be there with the sustainable solution that minimises impact to the planet.

Also, our points system is a great way of giving back and mitigating the impact of your purchase even further. Worried about the manufacture of your product and carbon emissions? No problem, just use your points to plant trees!
